Truro is Cornwall's lovely capital city - and Cornwall is rightly proud of it.
Truro is a great place for shopping - with a variety of stores, boutiques etc.
The streets of Truro are picturesque - wide, leafy avenues with Georgian town houses, and cobbled streets with Victorian
buildings, and a magnificent Cathedral.
There are some nice street cafes - especially around Lemon Quay.
The city itself is very picturesque, and just wandering around it is a genuine pleasure. There are also some nice walks
along the rivers, some lovely parks (Victoria Gardens, Waterfall Gardens, and Boscawen Park are especially nice).
But the best way to enjoy the scenery here is to take a boat trip.
The views from the river are fabulous, and boat trips are available from
Truro all the way to Falmouth - absolutely fabulous!
